Her art practice involves the voice and issues of technology, often using telephony or radio transmission. She is also involved in community art and is a founder of the digital media center for women in Canada, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studioxx.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Studio XX<\/a>, and the innovative choral group for women, <a href=\"http:\/\/choeurmaha.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Choeur Maha<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0Her &#8220;Sonic Choreographies&#8221; are\u00a0large scale sonic installation\/performances for 100 singers and radio. They have been performed internationally including the inauguration of the Vancouver New Public Library and at the Lincoln Center&#8217;s Out of Doors Series. Ms. Kennedy currently teaches electroacoustics and audio art at Concordia University in Montreal.\u00a0She frequently gives lectures and workshops on listening skills, acoustic ecology and vocal improvisation.
