LITTLE GIRL BLUE TO AIR ON CBC – DEC 24TH AT 11PM

Little Girl Blue, a 20 minute fiction film written, directed and produced by Concordia part-time professor Dan Babineau along with the aid of CUPFA’s Professional Development fund, will be part of CBC Television’s holiday lineup!  The film will screen on December 24th at 11 pm, followed by a short interview with Babineau, and behind the scenes footage showing some of the production which featured many students and graduates of Concordia’s Communication Studies and Mel Hoppenheim Film Production programs, as well as others from Champlain College where Dan is department coordinator of the Media Program.  The film will also be available across Canada on the CBC web platforms, accessible via cbc.ca.

Little Girl Blue tells the story of a young nurse on Christmas Eve, who experiences such a difficult day in the emergency room that she decides to quit her job.   But on her way home, an encounter with a pregnant homeless woman changes everything.
