CUPFA member Jenny Lin invites you to the launch of HANDBOOK: Supporting Queer and Trans Students in Art and Design Education, a radical rethink on how to work with queer and transgender students on their path to becoming artists and designers — from the first day of school through to seminars, studio classes, and critiques. There will be three events:
- A 5 à 7 evening on Friday, October 12 from 5 to 7 PM at Artexte (2 rue Sainte-Catherine Est, salle 301)
- The book launch with a brief conversation Anthea Black (Queer Publishing Project), Jenny Lin (B&D Press), and Kama La Mackerel (Our Bodies, Our Stories) on Saturday, October 13 from 2 to 5 PM at Artexte (2 rue Sainte-Catherine Est, salle 301)
- A workshop around the publication on Monday, October 15 from 9:30 to noon at Concordia EV 6.720 (1515 Ste. Catherine Street West)
All events are free of charge. If you would like to attend the workshop, please RSVP by noon on September 28, 2018, by contacting Joana Joachim: expo@artexte.ca
