In alignment with the objectives of the Concordia University Part-time Faculty Association, the mandate of CUPFA’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is as follows:
- To advise the CUPFA Executive Committee on issues related to equity, diversity and inclusion, notably with regard to race, ability, gender and sexuality;
- To inform, educate, and support part-time faculty with regard to issues and situations involving equity, diversity and inclusion;
- To assist the CUPFA executive and staff in advocating for part-time faculty who may face inequity or discrimination with regard to working conditions, at an individual and policy level.
